Sr. Fund Analyst recruitment
Role Summary
This position is mainly responsible for monitoring/administering the daily valuation process (oversight meetings, pricing decisions and board reporting) for all of the Russell Investment Company, Russell Trust Company, Russell Investment Funds, Russell Institutional Funds, LLC and the State Street Global Advisor funds.
The responsibilities of the individual in this position include:
- Oversight of all daily pricing decisions, fund valuation and fair valuation
- Participate in valuation oversight committees for Russell/SSgA funds and complete meeting minutes for regulatory records
- Oversight and review of pricing reports and preparation of related board materials
- Coordination of annual audit confirmations
- Oversight of agency reporting
- Regular interaction with portfolio managers and brokers
The successful candidate will have extensive demonstrable skills and experiences including the following:
- College degree required; accounting or finance focus preferred.
- Five years of experience and thorough understanding of the financial markets
- Five years of experience; thorough Securities knowledge
- Ability to perform technical analysis
- Technical writing skills
- Presentation and public communication skills
- Ability to research and present materials with little or no preparation time.
- Ability to prioritze, organize and work indpendantly
- Excellent communication skills and ease in speaking before others
- Ability to meet daily deadlines
- Ability to work well under pressure
