SENIOR GRAPHIC DESIGNER
Mad Dogg Athletics, Inc. is the world’s largest equipment based fitness education company and home of Spinning®, Peak Pilates®, Bodyblade® and Resist-A-Ball®. We are looking for an experienced, detailed oriented and highly creative Senior Graphic Designer who likes to have their hands on multiple projects and brings new ideas to the group and contributes a positive attitude and an innovative spirit.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
We are seeking a professional Senior Graphic Designer to creatively support our cross-functional teams and develop marketing and sales collateral as well as provide on-going support and maintenance for current product collateral. This person will be responsible for creating multi-page documents, flyers, sales pricelists, packaging, print ads, tradeshow materials, newsletter templates, website banners, etc. The ideal candidate must be a team-player and be able to handle multiple projects simultaneously, meet tight completion deadlines, work independently, communicates effectively and be creative in the midst of chaos.
Compensation is dependent on professional experience. Benefits package available.
SKILLS / QUALIFICATIONS:
- Proficient in the latest versions of graphic design software, including but not limited to Advanced Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and In Design.
- Must have experience with print design and layout for sales and marketing collateral, flyers, posters, tradeshow materials, multi-page brochures and catalogs.
- Requires strong artistic and graphics skills, the ability to exercise sound discretionary judgment, and the ability to interface and consult with the cross-functional teams on the coordination of projects.
- Must have a strong eye and a high aesthetic for graphic and interactive design, typography, photography, etc.
- Well-versed with Mac OSX, familiarity with Windows.
- Familiar with HTML, CSS, Flash products, JavaScript and Dreamweaver a plus.
- Familiar with mobile and iPad design a plus.
- Familiar with both print production and web processes.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a positive attitude.
- Ability to prioritize, multi-task and work with minimal supervision.
- Must be able to adapt to ever changing workloads and deadlines, and work well within the team environment.
- Required qualifications include a Graphic Arts or related design degree and 5 + years graphic design experience.
- Interested in lifestyle or fitness products / industry preferred.
