Sr. Hardware Engineer (Video Surveillance) Job in Los Angeles 90012, California US
THE COMPANY:
Our client is located right outside of Los Angeles is a pioneer in Megapixel IP Cameras for the new age of surveillance security platforms. Our client is looking for a high level Sr. Hardware Engineer who will immediately contribute to our HDTV video surveillance applications systems. Our client is actively seeking candidates who are "hands-on" with application development, experienced with embedded platforms, have a background working with IP Megapixel Camera products for security surveillance purposes. This position will be working with a "fast-paced" engineering team will develop hardware solutions for next generation megapixel IP cameras.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Candidates will be responsible for creating the latest architectures for the most innovative single "multi-sensor" HDTV networks cameras used in surveillance applications.
- Candidates will be integral in helping make improvements to existing products aid in the creation of the latest VHDL modules.
- Candidates will also manage the operation of the latest digital models the embedded camera firmware used with them.
- Candidates will also aid in leading the "long-term" strategies relating to product development.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Candidates must have a minimum of a PhD degree in Electrical Engineering along with @ least 5 years of working experience in a related field.
- Candidates need to be skilled in hardware designs such as Filed Programmable Gate Arrays (FPGA), synthesis, VHDL, as well as simulations.
- Candidates must be familiar with methods of the design of "high-speed" hardware.
- Candidates must have past experience with the processing of Real Time images with dynamic range, histogram equalization, compression, dynamic range enhancement.
- Candidates must have knowledge of C/C++, Real Time Operating Systems (RTOS) the development of embedded "micro-controllers".
