Sr High Speed Digital IC Designer

We are seeking a Sr High Speed Digital IC Designer - with mixed signal experience for our San Jose, CA based client

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Design, Synthesis and timing analysis of high speed digital/mixed signal circuits

QUALIFICATIONS:
*ONLY LOCAL CANDIDATES, CURRENTLY RESIDING IN THE BAY AREA WILL BE CONSIDERED
- BS ore better in EE
- 10 to 15 years experience in multi-million gates digital IC design, of which several yrs having worked on high speed design
- Experienced in 90nm or below.
- Experience with the entire design cycle from micro-architecture specification definition, design, synthesis, right through to post-silicon debug and support in lab environment.
- Strong Verilog RTL coding skills
- MUST HAVE strong fundamentals and experience with respect to static timing analysis/ timing closure
- Experience having worked on at least one of the following types of high speed circuits: high speed serial links for PCIe, 10Ge, SATA, HDMI, etc OR memory controllers(DDR2 or 3), or high speed networking or switching controllers, CDR or SerDes circuits, PC chipset(Northbridge or Southbridge) controllers, etc
- Independent self starter with strong communication and interpersonal skills

DESIRABLE/ASSETS:
- Any experience with Mixed signal design is HIGHLY DESIRABLE(experience using VerilogA, Spice, etc)
- Previous experience as a project lead or team lead
- SoC experience
- Experience in Cadence design environment
- Understanding/exposure to SystemVerilog, Perl, Unix Shell.
