Kohler Co., a world-class manufacturer, is seeking to add an ambitious and qualified Sr. Human Resources Generalist to join our HR team.  The candidate of choice will be an early career HR professional who is seeking to broaden their experiences and career at a large, global company. Initial placement will be within Kohler’s HR Rotation Program.  The HR Rotation program is an ongoing initiative to develop HR skills and provide various opportunities to partner HR with the business as well as with our corporate HR Centers of Excellence professionals who offer expertise in the areas of compensation, benefits, talent acquisition, labor and organizational effectiveness.  After a rotation to learn and grow, the individual will join an HR team within the business, or Corporate to which they are suited.

At Kohler Co., HR professionals interface with all aspects of the business unit they are assigned to -- its customers and especially its associates -- to bring HR strategies into alignment with organization goals and enable the organization to succeed through progressive and responsive HR practices. While relationship building is critical you will be challenged and energized with coaching, training, driving engagement, succession planning, and labor relations within a business team of high-performing leaders who understand how to leverage progressive HR practices. As a recognized key partner you are accountable for driving business objectives through human resources practices.

The Sr. Human Resources Generalist position will be integrated to Kohler HR processes at our corporate headquarters located in Kohler, WI approximately 1 hour north of Milwaukee along the shores of beautiful Lake Michigan.  After a 3-6 month rotation this individual will be assigned to HR within a business or corporate staff unit.  Qualified candidates with flexibility to relocate outside of WI will be given priority in the interview process.

Successful candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree, MBA preferred, and a minimum of 2-5 years multi-functional experience at a professional level in human resources to include a solid background of utilizing talent practices (performance management, succession planning, coaching, recruitment, assessments and similar). Compensation and job level placement will be based on depth of HR experience you bring to Kohler Co.  New graduates from an MBA program, who have participated in Internship or Co-op assignments during their post-secondary education, will be considered if they have a passion and drive to establish a career in Human Resources.

This position may require travel.  A high energy HR professional with post graduate training or certification is preferred.  Prior HR experience in a manufacturing environment a plus.
