Sr. Information Security Engineer SunOne LDAP / Oracle DSEE

We have an opportunity for an experienced Information Security Engineer in our Information Security Technology organization. The person selected for this position will be responsible for: - Installation, configuration, administration of SunONE LDAP/Oracle Directory Enterprise Server 5.2 ODSEE11 - Installation, testing and deployment of new versions of software, hotfixes and security fixes - Installation, configuration, of SLAMD tool to execute performance testing - Providing consulting in planning, testing and documenting environment changes which include new integrations as well as the existing environment. - Provide consulting in areas such as ODSEE upgrade, Audit, DIT, replication topology, management of bulk transactions, potential performance issues, etc. - Have active involvement in Audit-related activities - Provide second level troubleshooting of SunOne LDAP/ODSEE software - Work with internal development teams to provide consistent test platforms for code development, Oracle Directory integrations and SiteMinder policy development - Provide training to other technical resources Basic Qualifications: 5+ years of experience in security applications and systems. Minimum Qualifications: A minimum of 5-7 years system administration experience in a complex application environment; 4+ years of SunONE LDAP/Oracle Directory Enterprise Server 5.2 hands-on administration including: overall configuration, troubleshooting, patch application, configuring replication, schema management, ACI management, encryption, patch application, etc.; Ability to be part of a 2nd level 24x7 on-call escalation rotation. Preferred Skills: Experience upgrading Directory Server from 5.2 to ODSEE11 in a production environment; Experience in evaluating other brands of Directory Server (such as CA Directory, OUD, IBM Tivoli Identity Manager, etc.); Demonstrated technical ability to make performance/tuning recommendations for ODSEE; Ability to make replication topology recommendations; Familiarity with ODSEE 11 password policy configuration; Demonstrated ability to document procedures for other engineers to follow; Ability to make audit-related assessments, document changes needed, deploy feasible udit-related changes; Experience with UNIX/Linux operating systems; Excellent communication skills working with development, production and application teams for multiple lines of business; Excellent troubleshooting skills to address real-time production issues and restore service from an operations stand-point.
