Job description In your new position you are responsible for the management of consulting projects in the areas of Strategic Planning, Business Development, Marketing Sales, Supply Chain Management, Manufacturing, Finance Controlling or Human Resources according to the defined project objectives, quality standards, and resource budgets. You will lead project teams (joint team consisting of members from both Business Consulting and its internal client), but also coach and develop junior level consultants in project work to improve their professional competency. Furthermore, you contribute to the project performance assessment of the junior level consultants. In addition, you will participate in promoting the services of Business Consulting such as project proposal development, marketing activities or client relationship development to its clients and contribute to the overall development of Business Consulting globally, e.g. knowledge development, training, recruiting or internal event organization.
Your qualifications You have graduated with distinction from university in natural science, engineering or economics/business. Ideally, you have a further qualification (e.g. a PhD or MBA). You have several years of management consulting experience and/or several years (including preferably managerial experience) of corporate experience in the industries relevant to the Bayer Group's business, preferably in functions such as Strategic Planning, Business Development, Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing or Human Resources. You are experienced in complex management consulting or business-related corporate projects regarding methods such as concept development and realization, problem solving, quantitative and qualitative analysis as well as communication (both written and verbal). You are self-motivated, result-driven, open-minded, collaborative and sensitive to multicultural working environments. Moreover, you are interested in people development and you have profound analytical skills. An excellent command of English (both written and spoken) is a prerequisite in addition to the willingness for international travel. Good German skills, written and spoken, will also be advantageous.
