Status: Freelance to Full Time or straight Fulltime

Rate: $30-35/hr, 70-80K

Job Description:

Our client is a education-based online savings company.

They are looking for a Sr. Interactive Designer to join their Creative Services team.

SUMMARY

This position will be responsible for the conception, design, and execution of digital media for integrated, cross channel initiatives including: web, mobile, advertising, email, and social media marketing.

Position is onsite and reports to Creative Services Director and Managing Director.

Prior Financial Services Marketing experience preferred.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Interactive Design

- Ensure brand standards across communications

- Provide digital media design to support strategies

- Apply design to wireframes, designing according to industry standards and best practices

- Accurate interpretation of strategic and creative briefs

- Effective communication of design recommendations to internal team and client

Digital Media

- Knowledge of industry standards and best practices, and the ability to implement

- Familiarity and capabilities with such programs as HTML, JavaScript, Actionscript, XML, CSS

Must be comfortable mentoring and training less experienced designers.

Must also be accustomed to reviewing project measurement and results. And in general, be comfortable with the marketing communications process.

Ability to be client facing is expected.

7+ years of experience preferred.

This is a Mac CS5 environment.

Pay rate is $30-35/hr, 70-80K.
