Description
Responsible for establishing/guiding a strong organization for the Global Substantial Holdings reporting function (including SEC 13 F, G and H disclosures) related to complex regulatory reporting requirements in all countries where we have discretionary assets across entire BNY Mellon Corporation . Responsible to maintain quality control and daily execution of timely disclosures to regulators and issuers in each country BNYMEL conducts business. Engage with internal external counsel, regulators and issuers to understand changing regulatory requirements for each jurisdiction and interpret for operational implementation. Data management responsibility to centrally collect, analyze, streamline, load, and distribute all BNYMEL mutual funds. Provide strategic direction to technology teams for SDW (Strategic Data Warehouse). Also responsible for business continuity program. Responsible for all operations related to the Corporate Data Information Center (CDIC) - centralized product repository. The ability of the person to be able to guide and provide oversight for implementation of strategic technology infrastructure while also taking the short term tactical approaches is desirable. The person will also provide guidance and direction to CCOs in our asset management boutiques. The position will oversee staff in multiple locations both domestically and internationally.

Qualifications
Qualified candidates typically have: MBA or equivalent with 15+ years of financial services experience, including operations, technology, risk, and compliance. Strong analytical, business, and operational background with the ability to undertake complex initiatives and build operations and/processes to deliver results. Solid communication skills coupled with the ability to effectively manage interactions with regulators, compliance officers and other business units Proven leadership skills with the ability to successfully manage a team in multiple locations Strong knowledge of financial instruments and securities; mutual fund knowledge required. Experience in developing investment management operations procedures; and providing guidance/oversight for building strategic technology infrastructure Experience reporting disclosures to regulators. Experience in providing strategic direction to the Technology teams strongly preferred Ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed (approximately 10%)
