Our global York PA client is looking for a Senior IT Auditor. The ideal Senior IT Auditor will evaluate and monitor procedures and internal controls over the company’s global information technology environment. The information technology environment includes physical security over data centers, network communications/security (e.g. routers, firewalls, TCP/IP, VPN, etc.), database management systems (DB2, SQL, Server, Oracle, Lotus Notes), open source systems (UNIX/Linux), computer operations, change management over aforementioned areas (network/applications/databases/operations) and operation system security. The position also participates in the evaluation of segregation of duties over application security involving the Company’s SAP environments.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
§ Evaluate and monitor procedures and internal controls as related to physical security over data centers and computer operations, network communications/security, database management systems, change management over all IT areas and operating system security.
§ Conduct risk assessments over areas of the global information technology environment to highlight major technical risks and gaps over such environments.
§ Evaluate segregation of duties over application security involving the ERP systems.
§ Assist other internal audit team members with evaluation of information technology issues noted during financial and operational audits.
§ Communicate with the external auditors on general computer control related matters and SOX test procedures.
§ Research and stay relevant on recent trends in IT related practices and controls companies are using to harden and secure their IT infrastructure and environments.
§ Research and stay familiar with best practice methodologies such as COSO’s Control Objectives for Information and related Technology (COBIT) and Institute of Internal Auditors’ (IIA) Guide to the Assessment of IT Risk (GAIT) as well as use of the IIA Global Technology Audit Guides (GTAG).
REQUIREMENTS:
§ 5+ years IT auditing experience
§ Experience in information security and auditing techniques over IT controls and procedures.
§ Experience in data mining tools; ACL or IDEA is preferred.
§ CISA certified or certification in process.
EDUCATION:
· Bachelor’s degree in IT preferred.
