Sr Java Engineer
This is a Java – SR Software Engineer role with the primary tool being development with Java for Web Based eCommerce sites that we have with one of our clients.
Java - Sr Software Development Engineer – Multiple openings - Location is in Austin, TX.

Need to have extensive Web and Java Development background. This position is for an individual that have earned 110K+ to 200K (True Sr Level Developers). The company is willing to do Contract, Contract to Hire, or Permanent. The company is open to any Visa Status. Relocation package available if needed
Core competencies
• Java, UI, SQL, XML, HTML, DHTML, JavaScript and other web technologies
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering required
• Prior experience writing code in complex web applications is required
Environment
• Freemarker, Hibernate, Tapestry, Solr, Maven
• Algorithm, “Big O”, and run-time efficiencies a plus+
• RDBMS – My SQL
• Spring or Spring Core if working the front end
• Open Source tools a plus+
• Code optimization a plus+
Other Skills
• Maintain current technical knowledge to support rapidly changing technology, always on a look out for new technologies
• Java Engineer who will work with other developers, quality assurance engineers, and technical services personnel
• Candidate must be able to work with a minimum of technical supervision and supplemental support
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to adapt to new development environments and changing business requirements
• Work well in a team environment and be able to effectively drive cross-team solutions that have complex dependencies and requirements
• Ability to handle multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Code solutions will be tested. Understands working in a Test Driven environment
