Position: Sr. Java/ J2EE Programmer Location: Los Angeles California Area
Salary Range: 90k – 130k
Job Summary
Our client is searching for a Senior Java/J2EE Programmer who will be responsible for designing and developing cloud-based enterprise-grade server architecture. The ideal candidate will possess the ability to work independently on their tasks, yet capable of mentoring a growing development team to support a highly-interactive, high-performance user experience and social networking environment. This position reports to the Engineering Manager of the Network Team.
Responsibilities
· Build and maintain J2EE/Tomcat, and other Java-based applications
· Integrate with a variety of back-end systems
· Collaborate with web-design teams on front-end and web-services logic
· Write clear, well-written, object-oriented code
· Thrive in a fun, intense, engaging environment with plenty of design kudos
Requirements
· 5 years professional experience as a Java/J2EE programmer
· Proven experience with Tomcat, Spring, Hibernate, and MySQL
· Strong foundation with the Play Framework or similar LAMP-style environment
· Solid understanding of multi-threaded, asynchronous, and distributed computing
· Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science or equivalent
· HTML and JavaScript/AJAX experience a plus
· Significant audio or music experience a MAJOR plus!
