Sr Java/J2EE Developer recruitment
Possesses 8+ years of relevant professional experience
Must have complete SDLC exposure and experience with projects from inception to completion working in small teams
Has active hand-on experience
Is proficient with Object Oriented Analysis and Design
Is an expert in J2EE server side technologies including core Java, XML, Spring, Hibernate, JDBC.
Has a working knowledge of Oracle or comparable RDBMS
Has worked with JBoss, WebSphere, or other J2EE application server environment
experience working with GWT is a plus
experience working with FpML is a plus
Perl and UNIX scripting knowledge is a plus.
Duties accountabilities
Demonstrates deep technical skill across a broad range of technologies, and can identify appropriate technologies to fulfill a set of requirements.
Takes responsibility for work beyond what is assigned; this may mean improving existing applications or coming up with new applications altogether.
Can independently design, implement, test, and deploy new applications within existing systems.
Follows relevant technology trends, actively evaluate new technologies, and use this information to advocate and advise when/how to take advantage of these.
Application Design
Designs new systems in a manner consistent with existing architecture and frameworks
Translates functional requirements into technical requirements and design
Application Development
Designs and codes complex programs
Participates in database related projects and performs data optimization tasks.
Evaluates complex client area requirements and processes
Provides application and user support and performs troubleshooting
Provides production support as necessary
