The lab technician is responsible for the following duties: HFCS and sampling and testing Sample ingredients Perform laboratory glassware housekeeping Taste testing set up Microbiological sampling and testing Prepare routine reagents/solutions Managing SAP inputs Supplemental areas of responsibility will include: Syrup testing Instrument calibration and set-up Water testing Water treatment plant operation Issuing syrup formulas to mixers Assisting with internal and external audits Job Requirements--Competencies/Skills 1. Ability to plan and organize multiple tasks and projects 2. Strong team player with initiative and high level of performance 3. Effective personal computer skills (Microsoft Excel and Word) 4. Effective communication and writing skills 5. Ability to function effectively under short time constraints, requiring occasional work outside of normal schedule. 6.
