Sr. Loan Underwriter
Global Financial institution is looking to add a Sr. Loan Underwriter responsible for consumer credit. This person will be part of the private banking business responsible for serving high net worth clients. Individual responsibilities for this role include pre-screening transactions; conducting all due diligence on crew credit requests (credit analysis, financial statement analysis, meet with perspective clients); prepare and negotiate structuring recommendations with the firms credit policy; make approvals or decline recommendations to credit approvers; work with legal counsel to prepare, negotiate and execute loan agreements; manage all loan requests; maintain ongoing communication with Origination Team and FAs.
The ideal candidate for this role will have 10+ years of overall experience with experience lending against both Real Estate and Securities. Candidates should have a minimum of ten years of lending and credit analysis experience. Must be detail oriented and have exceptional analytics skills; Strong accounting and finance knowledge; Excellent communication and presentation skills; maintain poise and have exceptions interpersonal skills to manage relationships with sophisticated high net worth clients and their advisors.
