Report Ordering production support role
Complete Description:
Requesting a mainframe developer with expert knowledge of COBOL, CICS as well a VSAM and DB2 which are essential technologies to retire a legacy report ordering application (Allied CCM).
Participate in code reviews, execute code needed to route transactions from Allied CCM over to UWRS. There would not be any support phone/production support with this role, 100% project.

The work constitute of 3 phases: Auto/Powersports, Property, Commercial. The work will be executed by the following process:
o Knowledge Transfer of the application from the existing team.
o On the job shadowing
o Defining the Quality processes and Metrics
o Support the application
o Improvement areas.
On a high level, the approach has the following steps:
o Shadowing with the current NI teams on the day to day activities
o Knowledge transfer sessions, documentation and on the job transition
Behavior Characteristics:
Undergraduate studies in computer science, management information systems, mathematics or related field is preferred.
