Sr. Manager - Global Lodging Job

As a Senior Manager in the Global Merchant Services- Global Client Group, you will be responsible for building and evolving American Express? global lodging strategy to drive growth in charge volume, revenue, and merchant engagement. You will manage a portfolio of global lodging accounts. Specific responsibilities include: - Global account management of merchant relationships (leading colleagues in international markets and regions) to develop holistic strategies which deepen American Express? profitability, relevance and engagement. - Day to day merchant operations and account management. - Delivery against quantifiable goals by leveraging American Express assets to drive revenue and meet merchant needs - Identification and building of a pipeline of opportunities to increase charge volume, and profitability/ margin contribution of merchant relationship - Optimization and utilization of contractual marketing funds to support charge volume growth for American Express and revenue for the merchant - Partnering with internal stakeholders (e.g. Legal, Finance, Risk, Network Operations, and Pricing) to negotiate contract renewals and manage all aspects of the merchant relationship American Express is an equal opportunity employer. -Sales acumen - Proven track record of driving results - Relevant lodging industry experience a plus - Proven ability to build, manage, deepen and expand relationships both across American Express and externally - Demonstrated ability to collaborate across multiple business units and departments to achieve goals -Experience in developing and executing multi-channel marketing campaigns - Strong strategic-thinker, with analytical and problem solving skills - Ability to develop and implement creative solutions to marketing, financial, operational and other business problems - Organized with the ability to multitask and operate in an ever changing environment - Experience working in, or with, international markets is highly valued - Excellent oral/written communication skills a must - Travel approximately 25%
