Job Description: Raytheon Mission Operations and Services (MOS) is currently seeking a Senior Capture Manager (CM) who will be responsible for identifying, developing, and winning new business within the DOD IT Services markets with special emphasis on Operations, Maintenance and Engineering Services for the Pentagon and the Washington Capitol Area. The Senior CM is responsible for new business capture management, market analysis, strategy development, managing the execution of the strategy, and monitoring progress toward organizational objectives. The Senior CM oversees teaming decisions, pricing and win strategies. The Senior CM is responsible for MOS growth in the DOD IT Services markets. The Senior CM will oversee and coordinate Capture Management strategies for all opportunities/pursuits, within this market. Included are strategies for teaming, solution (technical, management, and cost) development, proposal staffing/development, etc. Leads the development, implementation, and successful execution of these winning capture strategies -- keeps the opportunity qualified and reports status to management. Improves/maintains capture win rate, through continuous improvement of capture best practices execution. Collects and accurately/objectively presents the opportunity/pursuit business case at management reviews to facilitate good business decisions by management. Capture Managers are fully accountable for all the activities related to the assigned capture opportunity, from initial gate through contract award. They are responsible for planning, controlling, and directing all related activities. The position requires a close working relationship with counterparts in other product lines, as well as, other parts of RTN in a "One Company" environment. Other responsibilities include, a) DOD IT Services focused marketing to develop solutions to customer problems, b) developing technology requirements (IRAD/CRAD) to support new business capture, c) identification of potential merger and acquisition (MA) candidates, d) win/loss analysis and related process improvements; and e) efficient management of new business investment (NBI) resources. Required Skills: Must have a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration / Management or a related Engineering discipline Must have a minimum of 10 years strategic planning and management experience Must have at least 5 years of demonstrated capture management experience Must have at least 5 years of direct experience with either the Army ITA and Air Force 844th Communications Group Must have demonstrated knowledge of associate contractors and the competitive landscape Must have demonstrated ability to make sound decisions in stressful business situations Must have demonstrated ability to work independently; a highly motivated self-starter
