Title: Sr. Manager- Global Client Group Marketing and Strategy Location: New York-New York Other Locations: The Global Client Group (GCG) segment represents a significant portion of Global Corporate Payments billings and net income. GCG customers manage large global programs and expect that American Express respects their needs / voice, and that we can deliver a globally consistent, highly relevant value proposition. The Senior Manager of GCG Marketing role is part of the wider Global Marketing team and directly supports the GCG customer segment through key strategic initiatives that will drive growth and retention and deliver differentiated value to our customers. This marketing manager will be a critical member of the GCG Marketing team in driving growth and profitability with responsibilities over: * Global Voice of Customer * Customer Marketing Strategy Key deliverables include, but are not limited to the following: Global Voice of Customer * This individual will be the single point of contact for capturing, documenting, and disseminating customer feedback, working with resources in Europe, Latin America, Canada and Australia to encapsulate customer needs globally * This individual will work closely with various functional teams and stakeholders to develop and drive a holistic approach to capturing and actioning customer feedback: · Partner with GCG and GCP teams to capture feedback through events, research, and other channels · Consolidate, synthesize and disseminate customer feedback to inform near-term product and solution innovation and long term planning · Own feedback loop with the customer Customer Marketing Strategy This individual will be responsible for: * Developing and executing on a holistic customer marketing strategy, understanding customer needs and customer gaps * Delivering a segmentation that helps to define client-specific product line and entrenchment strategies * Driving to the end goal of improving client satisfaction and driving margin for the business * Proven ability to influence and collaborate cross functionally with internal teams * Strong written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail and experience presenting to senior leaders * Ability to understand complex products and services and combine them to create comprehensive and strong value proposition * Strong project management skills with ability to meet deadlines and drive results while managing multiple priorities · Strong thought leadership and ability to challenge status quo and be innovative · Flexible and able to work independently and with minimal direction · Strong team player, desire to be part of a fun team! · Knowledge of the Corporate Payments organization is a plus · B2B marketing experience is a plus · MBA or equivalent experience
