The Senior Materials Project Management Analyst is a key function responsible for working closely with the Global Supply Chain team to provide Data and Metric Analysis and inventory reconciliation in Global Materials and Logistics to support the organization.
This individual will lead or partner with team members in Inventory Management, global material master management support, Metric analysis and training.
The main purpose of this position is to support reconcile and maintain accurate inventory numbers for the Shire Global material management team.
Additionally responsibilities include managing a GMM training program (SOP's and functional training), leading analysis/root cause for metric creation/improvement to the business, and streamlining the management of data in the Shire ERP system through Material Master improvements and overall system capability enhancement

Responsibilities
Inventory Management
* Perform various Shire Contract manufacturing and 3PL distribution monthly inventory reconciliation process. Ensure all finance rules are being met (Sox etc)
* Utilizing SPC tools make recommendations to improve the overall process and reduce amount of inventory not used in the manufacturing cycle
* Partner with Finance to resolve inventory/audit queries
* Lead a destruct/donation process with all manufacturing/distribution sites to ensure the integrity of shire owned inventory
* Development, maintenance and support of a global consolidated inventory reporting process for Shire
* Reviews requests for new material master records and responds according to agreed service levels.
* Ensures material masters records conform to standards for critical, global business parameters.
* Recommend solutions to requests and challenges from Global Supply chain departments regarding the design and configuration of key material master fields.
* Communicates and implements standards to stakeholder
