SR. MEASURMENT TECHNICIAN
QEP Energy has an opportunity for a qualified Sr. Measurement Technician in Ringgold, LA.Will direct the efforts of the measurement team to ensure efficient, accurate, and safe operations documenting the required meter calibrations and gas analysis adhering to company standards. Will manage project level work and direct contractors. Will provide technicians with training, support and relief for installing and programming EFM flow computers, calculating volume rates, acquiring information using stain tubes for H2S, C02, 02 and water content. Maintain meter test schedules,
install equipment, troubleshoot equipment failure, install and maintain
EFM radio telemetry systems and operate PC software.
Candidates must have experience with Microsoft Suite, safe handling of flammable gases, liquids and high pressure systems, electronic test instruments, gas chromatography, mechanical and electronic equipment used in gas and liquid measurements, AGA, APA, and GPA measurement standards.
