Sr. Mechanical Technician Job in Niagara Falls 14304, New York US

As a leading US supplier of rocket engines and propulsion systems to the satellite industry, we seek a Sr. Mechanical Technician to perform complex assignments involving prototype mechanical and electro-mechanical propulsion systems and devices in our Test department.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  Fabricate and repair a variety of mechanical/electro-mechanical devices using hand and power tools and measurement instruments.

  Welds a variety of component parts and subassemblies.

  Fabricates, operates, maintains, and repairs high-pressure gas and liquid systems.

  Cuts, flares, fits, and bends tubing for use in the construction/repair of test setups or test hardware.

  Read and interpret blueprints and written instructions.

  Fabricates, troubleshoots and repairs low-voltage electrical systems.

 

Requirements:

 

 High school diploma with 5 years related experience or AAS degree with 3 years experience.

 Knowledge of mechanical/electro-mechanical fabrication and repair techniques.

 Skill in fabricating and repairing a variety of mechanical and electro-mechanical devices using hand and power tools.

  US citizenship, US Permanent Residency, or other status as a US Person is required.
