The Process Improvement Senior Manager is a global-role based in Amgen's Global Biomedical Data Sciences (GBDS) organization, and is a member of the GBDS Operations Project Management Organization (PMO). The role will help drive continuous improvement projects that deliver measurable gains in cost, quality and/or cycle time both within GBDS and cross functionally. The role will support global standard trial execution process design and redesign based on emerging needs of the business (e.g., process developments throughout study conduct and close-out). The role will be responsible for the following: -Managing the development and implementation of optimized business processes (often complex, interdisciplinary solutions) -Evaluating and managing the impact of process changes to functions, systems and other related processes both upstream and downstream -Partnering to define and monitor appropriate benchmark data and/or metrics to measure process improvement -Maintaining alignment of process and change improvements with other current and development GBDS processes. -Facilitating communication of information on project status, changes, and issues to team members -Ensuring alignment with key stakeholders (including the project team, customers and management) on areas including initiative goals, approach and solution. -Balancing and proactively managing quality, scope, schedule and resources to meet stakeholder needs -Leading, motivating and supporting small to large matrixed teams to achieve objectives -Leveraging Amgen process improvement tools and methods
