Primary Job Responsibilities Sr Manager, Consumer Strategy Analytics We are looking for an individual who is outstanding at using business intelligence and analytics to drive positive business results for PayPal?s North America Consumer Segment, which drives a significant portion of PayPal revenue and tens of millions of active consumers. The individual will work across functions, including Marketing, Product and Customer Care as well as with other strategy and analytic teams, to develop strategies and insights to help drive short and long term business outcomes. We are building capabilities in testing and analysis and we collect large amounts of data. We?re looking for a candidate to build a strong test/learn and analytics culture. Understanding the underlying drivers of consumer base expansion and retention, and transactions/consumer Analyze and provide strategic recommendations to help drive near and long term growth in Consumer Acquisition, Retention and Engagement Be primarily responsible for drawing a detailed picture of our consumers, how they find, use, and exit our end to end experience across onsite, mobile and social experiences using transactional data and site analytics as well as other measurement and tracking tools Establishing the right metrics, tracking, and analytics to drive the growth outcomes across the organization Develop the necessary dashboards (daily, weekly, monthly), both automated and manual, across multiple data sets to provide insight and guide business decisions. Measure efficacy of programs Be an integral member of the Consumer segment leadership team and help support a ?winning in the marketplace? culture Manage multiple analytical projects at a time in a fast-paced, intense, results-oriented environment Ability to create new analytic approaches to support emerging offerings and platforms; e.g. mobile and new businesses Establish credible hypotheses, and test these effectively, to answer cause-and-effect questions in connection with performance. Foster a culture of A/B testing and rapid experimentation Deploy advanced analytics using data mining and predictive modeling techniques to drive goal achievement. People Manager (one direct report)
