Job Category: Finance Location: Redmond, WA, US Job ID: 787401-76861 Division: Finance International Tax Senior Manager, Tax Reporting Microsoft Corporation The International Tax Senior Manager is an integral part of the Tax Reporting Group and is responsible for the International aspects of the worldwide tax provision. The successful candidate will work closely with the International Tax Compliance team, Corporate Accounting and various Finance contacts to accurately report the International components of the tax provision. Core Responsibilities for this position include: Assisting in the preparation of the annual and quarterly worldwide tax provision including the SEC Form 10K and 10Q tax footnotes. Preparing and reviewing detailed analysis, including FTC, EP and Subpart F schedules for over 200 subsidiaries to support tax provision and other disclosure requirements. Participating as a team member with tax management to ensure proper tax accounting of: mergers acquisitions cross border transactions, equity transactions and a wide variety of other tactical and planning ideas. Reviewing and analyzing all tax planning ideas and ensuring that the appropriate tax accounting treatment are applied to ensure the ideas are properly reported in the appropriate financial statements. Significant prior tax experience in a large corporation or CPA firm coupled with strong communication skills being a self-starter and having a strong attention to details will enable the International Group Manager to be a successful member of the Tax Reporting Group. Specific requirements include: 10+ prior years of International tax compliance experience, including ASC 740/FAS109 BA/BS in accounting; MST or CPA is preferred.
