Summary:

This position is responsible for the design, implementation, support, and maintenance of  company network/security systems and associated policies. Assess and identify risks and/or potential threats and implements proactive mitigation strategies to ensure the security and reliability of the infrastructure. The successful candidate will be responsible for equipment lifecycles, utilization, monitoring, and performance. He or she will serve as the senior subject matter expert on network and security related issues, implementation, and ongoing configuration and support. This position colaborates with VOIP telecom teams when needed and coordinates regularly with Corporate Compliance on enforcement, auditing, and/or monitoring.

Qualifications:

·         5 to 7 years of experience in Security and Network Engineering/Administration

·         Experience working in diverse teams of 3 or more in multiple facilities

·         CCNP, CCSP, CISSP, or higher

·         SANS Coursework preferred

·         Bachelor’s degree; Master’s preferred

·         Financial services industry experience preferred, not required

An equivalent combination of education and experience may be accepted as a satisfactory substitute for the specific education and experience listed above

Required Skills:

·         Deep knowledge of network and security architecture, principals, best practices, concepts and standards

·         Expert level experience with Cisco hardware and software including configuration and support

·         Experience with multiple data-link and physical layer protocols/standards

·         Experience with VOIP networks in a call center environment

·         Develop and lead projects to further streamline, automate and/or consolidate new and existing processes

·         Contribute to and facilitate technology awareness, team work  and customer service

·         Strong analytical, communication and critical analysis mindset

·         Ability to manage and execute several projects and competing priorities within SLAs or project deadlines
