Your Opportunity at Intuit: - Senior Unified Communications Engineer with an understanding of network integration for Video Conferencing (Cisco, Polycom, or Tandberg) and IPVideo broadcast (Cisco or Qumu). This position will be the primary engineer working closely with architecture for recommendation, design, test, and rollout of current and new video conference and IP broadcast solutions. The ideal candidate must have experience in engineering design, implementation and troubleshooting skills proficiency for video conference and video broadcast along with a solid understanding of network integration for video devices and the following: - WAN Connectivity - MPLS, Point to Point, and various OC, SONET, and Metro technologies - Design, implementation and operational knowledge of immersive video conferencing (Cisco/Tandberg or Polycom) - Network monitoring to identify key trouble points of video transmission. - H.323 and SIP and related protocols. - Solid understanding of streaming services and architectures - Routing Protocols - OPSF, EIGRP, BGP as well as Policy Based Routing - Cisco Series Switch integration (primary Cisco and Force 10) - Certifications are a plus - CCIE, CISSP etc and/or ISP network operations center/tier 2-3 support. - Security technologies - ACLs, firewalls, VPN, IPSEC, PPTP - Other technologies - QoS, Multicast, cabling (Cat5, Cat6, SM fiber, MM fiber, Coax) - Able to troubleshoot at Layer 1 through Layer 3 effectively Your Talents: - Experience Summary - BS degree in a technical discipline or at least 5+ years of Cisco/Avaya/Qumu network video experience - Possess strong working knowledge of industry standard video/network integration and architecture - Ability to communicate with management, product suppliers, coworkers in a professional and articulate manner - Experience in Proof-of Concept setup and testing. - Project management knowledge - Ability to be proactive in assessing and preparing for future needs in regards to video/network architecture - Ability to diagnose, troubleshoot and recommend solutions. - Ability to determine the root cause of chronic issues Learn more about our award winning workplace and how we give back to our local and global communities.
