The position will also provide consistent guidance on issues and promote knowledge sharing with multiple Hess business components. ROLES/RESPONSIBILITIES: Support Hess operations with respect to health, environmental and safety issues Supervise projects including site remediation and weed control Provide safety leadership coaching to operations and contractor leaders to drivesafety improvement Assess safety processes in the field to identify gaps and coach for continuous safety improvement Support emergency preparedness and response efforts and assist operations with response drills Serve as a member of the incident investigation team to assist with incidents investigations as directed Lead safety and environmental meetings, including monthly meetings Understand, interpret and clearly communicate regulations and corporate policies Collaborate with other Hess Safety representatives to share best practices, corrective actions, and process improvements reporting to the Tioga Production Superintendent Develop a close working relationship and provide direction to contractor personnel in the field Job Requirements SKILLS/COMPETENCIES: Excellent communication skills Ability to manage multiple projects at once Detail oriented with superior organizational skills Working knowledge of EHS Safety Management Systems, OSHA, NDIC, DOT and other applicable regulations to oil and gas industry EDUCATION/TRAINING: High school diploma or equivalent required Computer literate 5 years experience with oil and gas industry Basic oil field maintenance operations experience Knowledge of remediation and weed control methods Report It
