Sr Principal Material Program

Serve as the liaison between Supply Chain and the program IPT. Create, manage, and execute the material program strategy and material program plan for large and complex Department of Defense (DOD) and commercial programs. Responsible for developing, tracking, and forecasting material sales and supplier payments. Utilize project management skills and techniques including Earned Value. Provide overall ownership of the supplier management process (i.e. Supplier Risk/Opportunity Plan, supplier performance, metrics, international issues, and communication of customer flow through requirements such as quality, warranty, etc. Act as the Control Account Manager. Required Skills: Minimum 10 years experience in supply chain with significant experience in the Material Program Manager role. Possess strong analytical, communication and teaming skills. Thorough knowledge of Supply Chain practices and pre/post award subcontract administration. Knowledge of Supply Chain processes from requirements generation through prime contract closure. Proficient in Excel and Powerpoint. DOD and Commercial experience; Understanding of the FAR. Desired Skills: Proven track record that includes working in a collaborative environment Proficiency with advanced computer tools (i.e. Excel Pivot tables, etc.) Required Education(including Major): Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Engineering or other related degree.
