Sr. Process Analyst, Global HR Payroll

Amazon is looking for a smart, driven, problem solver to help promote standard work and process optimization across HR functions. The Senior Process Analyst will identify areas of opportunity and develop solutions to build efficiency, scale, and a great employee experience. This role is broad, spanning locations and business groups. It will require an individual who can innovate, move quickly, and not be constrained by how things have been done before. Specific responsibilities will include: Drive operational excellence - develop solutions and deliver on improvements that scale and deliver a high quality employee experience Deliver solutions - assess and prioritize system and process needs based on business requirements, develop business case for new initiatives and obtain stakeholder support Execute global projects - direct the rollout of new tools and systems to global teams including delivery of standard operating procedures, workflow diagrams, and training Build partnerships with global HR teams - work closely with HR teams to understand their priorities and requirements, develop strong partnerships with HR Managers and HR business partners across locations Define key performance indicators - develop measures to define progress and success; confirm return on investment and establish ongoing reporting requirements Basic Qualifications 5+ years of HR or related experience 3+ years relevant program and project management experience Bachelor's degree in business, HR or related field Preferred Qualifications 8+ years of HR or related experience Successful record of building and improving operational processes and procedures, ability to drive program efficiency and high levels of customer satisfaction Demonstrated program ownership and consistent delivery on commitments - great organizational skills with exceptional follow through and attention to detail Exceptional analytical skills, comfortable working with large amounts of data and communicating data findings, experience establishing and tracking program metrics including return on investment Strategic view, able to perform cost benefit analyses, accurately assess risk, forecast both long and short-term outcomes, and evaluate the implications in a complex business environment Excellent written and verbal communications skills - ability to interface with all levels of the organization, specific strength in influencing decision makers and managing expectations Strong systems knowledge, uses technology to scale programs and improve efficiencies, experience PeopleSoft, Oracle, SAP or other HR management systems desired Experience identifying and resolving complex issues, will take initiative even under unfamiliar or ambiguous circumstances - solid sense of accountability and sound personal judgment Customer service orientation with a demonstrated desire to exceed expectations - ability to serve multiple customers (employees, managers, HR) Graduate degree and/or MBA preferred
