ASHLAND, Inc. (formally ISP CHEMICALS) in Calvert City, KY has an immediate opening for the position of Sr. Process Engineer. Requirements: BS in Chemical Engineering and a minimum of 10 years experience in a chemical manufacturing setting. Must have demonstrated experience in the following areas: project leadership in a team-based environment, the ability to apply data based problem solving techniques and the use of statistical quality improvement methodologies. Experience in batch polymerization is preferred. A background in cGMP, ISO 9000, and PSM is preferred. Responsibilities: Apply chemical engineering principles and leadership to develop and implement improvements to the Calvert City plant operations that will reduce cost, improve product quality, and increase production capacity. The individual will also have responsibility for the commercialization of new products and processes and will be involved in the development, design, and start-up of capital projects.
