Our services include disposal and treatment of hazardous waste, chemical recycling, fuel blending, wastewater treatment, industrial cleaning and maintenance, emergency response, and remediation. EQ is looking for a motivated self-starter for the position of Network Administrator to maintain a dependable computer network and phone systems.
The position will aid the Lead Coordinator in overseeing the proper receipt, analytical screening, unloading, treatment and tracking of all incoming waste streams and outgoing residuals. Supervise shift in absence of Lead Coordinator.
Responsibilities Include:
- Comply with all EQ Management System policies and procedures.
- Perform job duties in such a manner as to comply with government regulations.
- Review and sign incoming manifests. Responsible for noting discrepancies.
- Provide for housekeeping of all waste handling/processing areas of the plant and ensure the proper storage and handling of process chemicals.
- Direct off-loading operations for receipt of materials into the facility's storage and/or waste process systems.
- Implement internal recordkeeing system procedures (e.g. batch sheets) to ensure the safe, effective treatment of wastes and to provide a written account for the treatment of each shipment of waste received at the facility.
- Ensure the safe, effective treatment of wastes by providing the following:
- Collection of waste samples from inbound trucks
- Analysis of truck samples
- Accept/reject decisions consistent with waste profile data and facility operating permit
- Collection and analysis of waste samples during bulk treatment
- Determining batch clearance approvals for filtering of effluent
- Collection of post-treatment samples of liquid and solid wastes to determine suitability for ultimate disposition of bulk quantities of treated waste
- Completes all recordkeeping activities relating to the handling and analysis of delisting, effluent, and sales samples.
- Complete all other assignments given by management.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Knowledge of RCRA and DOT regulations preferred
- Must be able to follow directions and complete required tasks in a timely manner
- Strong computer skills required
- Three year Chemical Operator Experience
