Are you comfortable developing and launching new businesses in the financial services sector? Do you want to lead the development of a new revenue stream for Amazon that will have a significant and measurable impact on the bottom line? Amazon's Global Credit team needs an experienced Senior Product Manager to lead the effort launching and running credit card programs worldwide leveraging Amazon?s state of the art payment systems platform. The Amazon Global Credit Team manages all of Amazon branded credit card and private label credit programs in the US, United Kingdom, Germany and Japan. These platforms are growing rapidly and we are continuously adding new market leading features and functionalities and launching new products. The ideal candidate will be strong in more than one or all of the following areas: a) Business management, including creating business strategy, owning PL, and managing program metrics; b) marketing management, including building marketing strategy as well as execution c) credit card product management, including analyzing customers, designing credit card products and programs and d) software product management, including creating business justifications and functional requirements for site features. You will be accountable for driving all the strategic, operational and financial aspects of the program including managing high level key partner relationships. This position involves regular communication with management on status, risks and financial and operational program metrics. Cross-team coordination, project management and executive presentation skills are essential. The ideal candidate is a creative, demonstrated leader/manager with superior analytical abilities and able to create business opportunities both internally and externally to enhance the program?s ROI.
