Sr. Product Manager, Billing and CS Job in Austin, Texas Us
The Company
eBay, Inc. is forming a new business unit, X.commerce, that will work with our developer community to create commerce solutions for merchants. Technology is changing the way people shop. Advancements in mobile technology, social media and local shopping are fundamentally changing the way consumers find and buy products. Merchants of all sizes need new capabilities to keep up with these changes. eBay Inc.'s world class family of brands, that includes PayPal, GSI, RedLaser, Milo, Where, and others, offer many of the capabilities merchants are looking for.
Ebay and PayPal have seen the power of opening up our technology platforms to third-party developers. Now we are taking another bold step with the creation of X.commerce, an open commerce operating system that will give merchants and developers access to our full set of commerce capabilities. In addition, we are partnering with some of the world's biggest and most exciting commerce companies and startups to further enhance our commerce operating system.
The X.commerce ecosystem will be at the forefront of commerce innovation and we are looking for talented and motivated professionals who want to help make the X.commerce experience remarkable for our developers, merchants and consumers.
The Role
You will be responsible for developing the billing and support process for the developer offerings on the X.commerce platform. You will partner with developers in establishing their billing needs and identifying an appropriate support structure for their capabilities. - Have an in-depth understanding of the product offerings in the market and key players.
- Be completely customer driven and thoroughly understand their technical and business needs in each of the global markets.
- Establish product strategies and roadmaps for the X.commerce billing platform. Prioritize needs based on market opportunity and strategic importance.
- Identify opportunities for us to leverage existing technology and services in order to speed up our go to market and retain our focus on differentiation rather than rebuilding commodity technology.

- Establish support processes and ensure frictionless merchant and developer interactions.
- Work closely with engineering teams using the Scrum agile methodology to deliver continuously and on time. You will play the role of product owner - maintain a backlog of detailed user stories, prioritize them on an ongoing basis and lead sprint planning.
- Establish and monitor a set of metrics related to the X.commerce billing and support platform that measure the success of our strategy/execution.
You will be an individual that is passionate about eBay Inc.'s business and technology. You will collaborate well with others both within X.commerce and across eBay Inc.
