Position Summary:
As Senior Product Manager for the Coupon Platform, you will be responsible for defining the product strategy, requirements and plans to accomplish Coupons.com’s business objectives for a Coupon Platform. The platform will contain or integrate with other tools to control various aspects of coupon management. This will include content creation, quality management and approval tools, pricing, campaign management and reporting tools, content serving and distribution, yield management, billing and client support.
As a member of the product management team, you will be responsible for managing the overall product roadmap, writing detailed requirements and the day-to-day management of coupon platform applications and processes at Coupons.com.
You will work closely and cross-functionally with Engineering, Sales, Marketing, Client Services, Finance and Legal teams, as well as other Product Managers to build and deliver solutions that support ongoing and future business operations .
Additionally, you will also drive strategic product research and competitive intelligence; and closely coordinate launch plans with cross functional teams.
Responsibilities:
- Provide requirements for developing and deploying low-touch coupon content submission tools focusing on customer ease of use
- Devise and implant appropriate content quality and approval controls to automate coupon workflow in an adequate manner
- Work closely with internal analyst team and leverage data and science to model and drive yield Integrate with other tools that enable campaign management and reporting
- Develop plans and execute on a content serving and distribution strategy, by taking into account various data inputs to optimize yield and through continuous A/B and multivariate experimentation
- Partner with Marketing and Sales teams for key product and platform releases, to acquire and onboard new clients and to drive and maintain client adoption
- Actively manage platform development and track product adoption and success using key performance metrics
- Work with Finance to incorporate billing functions
- Work with Customer Support teams to incorporate client support functions
- Effectively engage and partner with Engineering, Sales, Marketing and other product teams to drive the implementation of your technical strategy and product roadmap
- Create use cases, user stories, user interface mockups, and detailed product requirement documents that clearly articulate desired product functionality
- Prioritize product requirements by making smart, decisive tradeoffs using data-driven analysis and sound judgment
- Collaborate with Client Services, Development, User Experience, and QA teams, to create exceptional solutions
- Be an innovator with demonstrated ability to craft a vision, get people excited by ideas and get them quickly to market
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5-7 years experience in Product Management, with 3-5 in the online industry
- Deep understanding of pricing, supply and demand dynamics and yield optimization
- Experience with order management and/or order processing systems
- Familiarity with search and display advertising and campaign insertion order processes
- Sound understanding of workflow process and automation Knowledge of sales, finance and operational reporting metrics
- Data-driven approach to product management, with a strong business grasp of experimentation and modeling techniques
- Strong initiative, high energy, and impeccable integrity
- Ability to grasp complex concepts and develop clear, concise, synthesized recommendations
- Ability to work well across the organization with a strong appreciation for product development and technical teams
- BS or MS in Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Economics or related areas from a top school MBA preferred
