The Product Manager is responsible for cross-organizational collaboration with Product, Email, Registration, Check Out and Advertising to translate properties needs into requirements. Identify solutions, and assess them with technology managers for both technical and business suitability. The Product Manager will take ownership of conceptualized features and develop specifications and other project documentation supporting implementation, and collaborate with delivery teams, reporting and strategic teams to build new features. This role may coordinate with technical teams in India to facilitate feature implementation. Translate the vision of other stakeholders and drive into actionable deliverables implemented in an Agile environment.
Responsibilities:
- Define new products and new releases according to corporate strategy and strategic product guidance.
- Define the product roadmap and introduce new ideas related to features.
- Provide market research questions to conduct studies to identify trends, segments and opportunities to improve Company’s products services.
- Find innovative solutions, assess and help developing new ideas raised in the organization for developing new features.
- Document and distribute value proposition, requirements, release schedule, drive project activities, and ultimately be responsible for the overall successful completion of a project.
- Provide consistent and comprehensive status reports, project updates, and ongoing cost/benefit analyses, significant issue tracking, and communication at the team and management level.
- Responsible for creating and prioritizing user stories within the teams backlog
Skill and Educational Requirements:
· BA/BS
· Familiarity with Scrum/Agile
· Proven planning skills including project management
· Strong financial and analytical skills
· Excellent facilitator of cross functional processes
· 4+ years of product management/product development experience
· Must have product management and marketing skills in a consumer focused environment including market research, usability testing, and site behavior statistics.
· Proven knowledge of the Product development life cycle with multiple products for the Internet.
· Aptitude for technology combined with solid business experience and marketing practices.
· Ability to succeed in a fast-paced environment where goals are aggressive and quality is key.
· Ability to work within a matrix organization and get features launched efficiently and quickly.
