Sr. Product Manager Job in Singapore, Central Business District Singapore
Position Summary: This position is responsible for defining market and business requirements for an assigned INTTRA product line of business, and working with cross-functional teams to coordinate successful product delivery and launch. The position involves close interaction with all stakeholders in the product development and launch lifecycle: key customers, product marketing, sales, customer support, product architects, and software development leads. The Senior Product Manager will create and prioritize product requirements and perform competitive analysis of current and future product offerings. This individual will establish and maintain consistent processes for capturing and prioritizing enhancement and defect requests for release. The Senior Product Manager will serve as an internal and external advocate for the product and how it meets industry needs.

Specific Functional Responsibilities:
- Ensures that business strategies and requirements are understood and supported. Utilizes experience to translate business requirements, technical constraints research findings, audience needs into measurable ROI driven initiatives that are best in class and adoption, retention and growth goals are met
- Establishes strong relationships with sales marketing, ocean carriers, and existing and prospective customers as part of product related information gathering process to ensure usability, adoption, and satisfaction.
- Assists in development of product strategy and adjacency analysis to expand product opportunities and revenue growth.
- Develops business cases and financial/ROI analysis to support new product concepts.
- Prepares business requirements documents, along with business use cases and workflows, for hand-over to business analysts and product development (IT) team.
- Conducts and maintains competitive research and analysis.
- Establishes consistent and effective communication channels with key constituents.
- Thought leader in the area of Product Management and remains current on industry innovations, issues, market trends, and regulatory matters.
- Partners with BTG to ensure that requirements are properly addressed.
- Responsible for preparation of product information to provide internal monthly status which informs product marketing, sales and customer support
- Team participation includes leading people and getting results through others.
- Partners with product marketing to ensure successful product launches, usability tracking and another customer satisfaction monitoring processes/initiatives.
- Conducts internal training for sales enablement and customer support.
- Performs win/loss analysis.
Qualifications:
- Education Professional Qualifications:
- BA/BS in business/marketing or equivalent
- MBA highly desirable
- 7+ years of product management experience with B2B Software Product Management or e-commerce products delivered via a SaaS model.
- Experience in ocean freight or logistics preferred.
- Web 2.0 / social networking expertise.
- Experience with product development using Force.com’s cloud computing platform.
- Experience in Agile development methodologies
- Successful experience in working both as an individual contributor and manager
- Knowledge of master data management concepts for customer and product information.
- Ability to clearly and consisely communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences (writing samples will be required).
- Highly analytical, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including negotiation/influencing skills and the ability to conduct multi-company, multi-national, business meetings.
- Ability to effectively collect and analyze market input from various internal and external resources.
- Highly motivated with strong desire to expand the company’s business opportunity and grow revenue in the line of business.
- Creative and resourceful to blend industry needs with business strategy to influence, enhance existing roadmap or develop new compelling product plans and prioritize decisions.
- Effectively collaborates across multi-disciplinary teams to produce well thought out and innovative solutions – define, recommend, evangelize and develop initiatives – challenge the status quo and provide a fresh perspective.
- Ability to adapt to rapidly shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment, respond quickly to changing business needs/timelines and complete quality assignments on time
