POSITION SUMMARY:
We are looking for a talented and entrepreneurial Product Manager with passion and a proven track record of excellence and deep experience in the mobile space to join our ecommerce team. As the business owner of our mobile initiatives, you will be responsible to drive the delivery of exceptional shopping experiences on our mobile channels including our mobile site and mobile apps.
You will work closely with design, engineering and customer support to deliver products that are consistent with our online shopping experience while also taking advantage of the unique capabilities of the various mobile platforms and devices.
The candidate we are looking for must have a relentless attention to details, a persistent focus on customer experience and be a subject matter expert in the mobile space.
Essential Job Functions:
- Produce innovative feature enhancements for our mobile channels that will raise key metrics.
- Define and execute product roadmaps to meet corporate goals and objectives.
- Use web analytics, market research, behavioral studies, and competitive analysis to drive decision making.
- Write detailed product requirements documents (PRDs) for new functionality.
- Commitment to creating the best mobile shopping experience.
- Be the subject matter expert and evangelist of our mobile strategy.
- Lead initiatives from concept thru implementation, driving the schedule, and working with key stakeholders and cross functional teams.
Minimum/Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of three (ideally five to ten) years product management experience with mobile Internet products, mobile commerce and technologies, including the Android and the iOS platforms
- Experience writing MRDs, PRDs, and functional specifications.
- In depth knowledge of eCommerce tactics and customer-centric design
- Very comfortable using web analytics tools and accountable for web conversion metrics.
- Proven track record of taking ownership and driving results on technical projects
- Exceptional communication, analytical and problem solving skills
- Bachelor’s degree in either a technology or business discipline
Preferred qualifications:
- Background in health industry and/or insurance
- Experience within a retail consumer goods/services company
- MBA or MS in a technical discipline a plus
