BACKGROUND:

ANDREWS SPACE, INC. is a catalyst in the commercialization, exploration and development of space.  Andrews has several spacecraft and spacecraft subsystem development initiatives underway and is expanding our team.  Andrews is looking to hire exceptional individuals who desire to work in a fast paced, challenging, small team environment to execute hardware development projects.    

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS/EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
MBA and/or MS in Aerospace, Mechanical or Electrical engineering with a demonstrated track record of developing space flight hardware required.  Must be United States Citizen.

DUTIES SPECIFIC TO THIS POSITION:
The Sr. Program Manager will be responsible for managing one (or more) satellite or satellite subsystem development programs valued at $2M to $20M each.  Candidates will be responsible for all Program Management functions including interfacing with the customer, program cost and schedule execution, and leading small teams (10-20 engineers and technicians) to achieve hardware development milestones.  Sr. Program Manager will report directly to the President / CEO on a weekly basis to provide cost and schedule status.  Sr. Program Manager will travel, as required, to interface with the customer and attend meetings and reviews.
