Job Description: Seeking a skilled and experienced Software Engineer to provide onsite support for an important Government customer.Responsibilities include all phases of the software lifecycle in various object-oriented and scripted languages such as Java Script, C++, Perl, Python,Ruby. Use industry best practices to all development efforts; review, analyze, and modify software systems including coding, testing debugging,installing and documenting; develop software documentation; and support system administrators with the installation of software applicationsand development of training materials. Will be required to lead and mentor junior team members, advise on alternative approaches, conductfeasibility studies, and estimate resource requirements for software tasks. Candidate will join a growing team that delivers onsite professionalservices. The work location is Columbia, MD and nearby areas.Required Skills, Experience, and Education: Job requirements include a current Top Secret SCI clearance with lifestyle polygraph, aBachelor of Science degree in computer science, computer engineering, or information systems or related discipline, sixteen years experience inservice-based, web-based, and non web-based application design, development, back end database architectures and full lifecycle softwaredevelopment. Four years experience in software development in object-oriented and scripted languages such as. Java Script, C++, Perl, Python,Ruby.
