Position Description
Sr. Project Manager
Vaco has a client in the financial services industry that is looking for a Sr. Project Manager to come in and help create the framework for a GLBA (Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act) risk assessment.
* Work with Info security officers and compliance officers at the bank to establish the framework for the risk assessment.
* Working under the direction of the CCO this person will be responsible for coordinating the activities with the various IT and compliance resources involved at the bank and reporting the progress of the activities to the CCO
* Collaborates with key business and IT leaders to develop security policies, standards, guidelines, and procedures to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of company's systems and data
* Creates and implements a risk management framework to ensure the appropriate application of controls based on risk. Consults with business owners regarding their information security risks and responsibility in minimizing those risks.
The person needs to be confident, have an understanding of GLBA and should have at least 2 or 3 years in IT compliance and IT risk assessments. Ideally, this person will have experience leading a compliance project around GLBA.
