Sr. Project Manager Job in Lexington 02421, Massachusetts US

Job Summary:

Senior level position responsible for driving key software projects through the software development process to completion.  This role will work primarily with engineering, product management and third-party outsourcers to deliver high quality products on time.

Responsibilities and Essential Duties:

·         Serves as a leader in driving the timely delivery of quality projects software through the engineering process

·         Responsible for planning and scheduling project goals, milestones and deliverables

·         Ensures proper resources for project and program implementation are applied

·         Ensures quality project execution that is in accordance with statements of work, requirements and engineering guidelines

·         Key individual that manages the relationship with third-party outsourcing agencies where used

·         Creates and maintains project plans across all teams including outsourcers

·         Manages multiple concurrent programs and provides visibility of overall status to stakeholders

·         Facilitates and communicates with management, project teams on progress, through regularly scheduled meetings

 

Education and/or Experience:

·         10 year experience in enterprise software project management driving key projects

·         Proven ability to lead outsourcing engagements for successful delivery of product  

·         Full SDLC experience with engineering teams

·         Good working knowledge of design, programming and planning to build programs

·         Strong grasp of project management methodology and demonstrated understanding of project scheduling tools such as MS Project, Basecamp, JIRA or other tools

·         Ability to work across geographic distances effectively

·         Experience with Agile, SCRUM

·         Experience facilitating technical requirements sessions with product management and engineering teams

·         Proven ability to run multiple programs

·         Strong interpersonal and communication skills
