Are you a leader and subject matter expertise in project management including scope management, risk identification and mitigation, resource allocation or facilitation? Lead this strategic initiative crossing business teams, operating groups and time zones as a Senior Project Manager to coordinate and complete projects, define performance and results and manage international. Senior Project Managers will determine time frames, funding needs, procedures for accomplishing project, allotment of resources to various phases of projects and lead others in the organization to make meaningful process improvements. Maintaining business plans and cost benefit analysis for assessment by Regional/Senior Leadership is required. You'll investigate non-standard requests and problems, makes presentations to senior leadership, ensure project documentation is accurate and ensure projects are completed on time and within scope. Pertinent data and facts will be reviewed to identify and solve issues and mitigate risks, prioritize your work load and work on ad hoc projects as assigned.
 
Functional Description:
Responsible for the coordination and completion of projects within the Provider Data product line. The Senior Project Manager provides subject matter expertise in areas including project scope definition, risk identification, project methodology, resource allocation, session facilitation and other areas of expertise based on established project management techniques. The Senior Project Manager makes presentations to executive management on project updates, project lifecycle, and expected results. They ensure projects are completed on time and in scope. On the more complex projects they will manage vendor and service providers to define project scope and performance expectations. Typically employees in this function are working towards or have achieved certification in project management.

·          Bachelors' degree in Business or Engineering related field and/or equivalent education and experience.
·          Previous experience in a Project Management function transitioning people/operations offshore
·          Actively pursuing and/or has received project management certification
·          Intermediate level of proficiency with MS Project, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint and SharePoint.
·          Demonstrated ability to communicate ideas clearly and concisely
·          Excellent time management, organizational, and prioritization skills and ability to balance multiple priorities
·          7 -10+ years of project management experience
·          Recent experience in transitioning IT resources offshore required
·          Experience in HealthCare data operations
·          5+ years Big 4 consulting experience or equivalent
·          Kansas City based only with international travel
