Sr. Property Administrator/ Property Management Assistant Job in Toronto/Gta, Ontario Canada

Position Summary
Reporting to the Regional Manager Residential Properties, the successful candidate will play an integral role in enhancing and growing our client's Property Management platform in Ontario. S/He will manage the day-to-day administration for Property Management with a strong customer service orientation and effective communication skills.
Major Responsibilities
· Manage the administrative tasks at the Corporate level for commercial and residential sites
· Liaise and facilitate communication correspondence between Property Management and Head Office
· Prepare reports on a weekly and monthly basis for internal and external partners
· Oversee day-to-day tasks within the division in the absence of the Regional Manager
· Maintain update Contractor spreadsheets for re-occurring seasonal and/or preventative maintenance and monitor life of service agreements
· Maintain and update market rental grids and monthly/yearly analysis of turnover and rental statistics
· Assist site staff with the proper use of forms and policies.
· Investigate and respond to resident complaints in a timely manner, maintaining appropriate records and follow up to ensure matters were attended to appropriately. Send out move-in/out surveys and follow up with site staff on comments.
· General administrative duties as requested including daily filing, typing, etc.
Required Experience/Qualifications
· Minimum of 5 years of experience in property management in an administrative role
· Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office 2010 products (Word, Excel, and Outlook) with the goal of creating budget spreadsheets.
· Must be self-motivated, focused and highly organized with the ability to achieve deadlines
· Strong team player who also excels at working autonomously
· Previous Commercial experience would be as asset
· Experience with Yardi Voyager or Yardi Enterprise is preferred
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including grammar/spelling and proofreading
· Strong and effective customer service/ conflict management skills
· Experience with electronic central filing systems or processes
· Strong working knowledge of the Residential Tenancies Act for Ontario.
· A good driving record is mandatory as travel to and from the various sites and working at the sites will be required
Education
· Post-Secondary education at a recognized institution
· Diploma/ Post-diploma in business administration or related field
· Training or certification in property management preferred
