The Raytheon SAS Mission Assurance Supplier Quality organization ensures that known good parts and services are received from the supply chain. We work collaboratively with our internal functional counterpart to ensure requirements flow down and TDP's will result in product that performs in the system, services that meet performance requirements. We conduct supplier oversight through requirements reviews, in-process and final inspection at supplier's facilities, perform "-value-added incoming inspection at Raytheon to ensure compliance. We perform robust containment, root cause, corrective action and validation of supplier caused defects. Develop bids that and support: Provide Supplier Quality Engineering support to assigned programs at the Dallas TX. site, with limited supervision. Tasks include supplier corrective action, maintaining monthly reports on the supplier corrective actions, enterprise supplier assessment, defect data analysis, documentation of supplier quality issues with the buyer, engineering, and supply chain management, tracking and applying product variance documents, evaluating supplier routers, and auditing supplier planning. Participate and lead multi-functional teams in process improvement activities using Raytheon Six Sigma quality tools. Identify and document supplier risk; develop mitigation plans to reduce, eliminate and prevent supplied product defects Collect data and monitor external supplier product and process quality through evaluation and quality metrics. Perform defect data analysis and review with the program managers and supplier management. Audit suppliers, document and report findings. Interface with buyers, Material Program Managers, source engineers, engineering, Program Quality, Supplier Quality, component engineering, Program Management, Integrated Product Team, operations management, suppliers, internal customers, and your management to determine and define issues, coordinate action plans for resolution and coordinate product requirements with suppliers for the assigned programs. Work with supplier personnel and program management to proactively identify root cause and corrective actions to reduce and eliminate supplied product defects. Utilize Raytheon Corrective Action system (RCAS) to initiate closed loop root cause corrective action and conduct follow-up on the corrective action. Required Skills: Written, verbal and presentation skills for interaction at various levels of management with the suppliers. Trip reports, written reports, six sigma projects, power point presentations, and leading problem solving teams are all expected to be developed skills or high potential skills. Ability to work with Engineers to develop practical solutions to a wide range of problems in quality systems, materials, electronics, optics, and mechanical products. Experience in a production environment. Experience in working with external suppliers. Familiar with closed-loop corrective action systems, nonconforming material control system and configuration management practices. Understand the use and the purpose of corrective action containment and root cause and appropriate escalation. Must be proficient with Microsoft office suite software. Proficient in Causal analysis and using tools. (i.e. 5-whys', FMEA, Fishbone, etc,.) Existing Secret Clearance required. Desired Skills: Working knowledge of Quality systems (AS9100/ISO 9000), Statistical analysis processes and tools, Configuration Management, and Mission Assurance. Knowledge of assembly/manufacturing, integration and test operations ASQ certified: CQE, CQA, or CQ Manager. Knowledge of or experience with Purchase Order and Contract review for Quality Requirements flow down.
