Sr Quantitative Analyst recruitment

The analyst will provide technical and strategic support for the development, analysis, validation, implementation, and maintenance of Citizens Financial Group’s (“CFG”) Operational Risk models and quantitative operational risk management approaches for use throughout the Bank to provide information to BusinessLines and Group functions to achieve effective risk management and capital planning objectives consistent with Basel II AMA regulatory requirements.

The qualified candidate will be responsible for development, maintenance, and backtesting of Citizens Financial Group’s (“CFG”) Operational Risk quantification framework complaint to Basel, stress testing and capital adequacy regulatory requirements.

The analyst will execute company-wide operational risk quantification methodology through mathematical  modeling.  The incumbent will be responsible for documenting their results including the methodologies, conclusions, and recommendations.  The analyst will collaborate with senior business managers and guide others on the use of models developed. The analyst will work with the Director in developing and maintaining a corporate-wide awareness for Operational Risk and ensure Business Lines have the appropriate advice and guidance to implement, maintain and use the Risk Management framework.  The analyst will work with other quantitative resources throughout the corporation to ensure consistent modeling techniques and collaborate with other analyst in devising advanced analytical methods for credit risk management.  The analyst will promote the exchange of ideas and application of best practices in financial modeling while participating and maintaining peer bank contacts and exchanges throughout the industry.
 

Qualifications

Advanced analytical skills
Excellent writing, verbal and communication skills
Advanced knowledge of MS Excel/PowerPoint, MS Word
Strong statistical and Matlab programming skills
Team player and excellent interpersonal and project management skills
Strong knowledge of operational risk management principles and practices, BASEL requirements
Bachelor Degree required, Master’s Degree preferred
10 + years, Analytical, Compliance, Risk, Management, leadership or related experience including leadership in financial services industry
Self-motivated
Ability to effectively communicate within all levels of the organization
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities and deliver solutions on

Hours per Week:   40

Work Schedule:    Monday-Friday 8:00AM-5:00PM
