Sr. RD Engineer-Project Manager
Summary:
With limited or no supervision, candidate provides a lead role in the implementation, ideation, development, design, test transfer to manufacturing of medical devices for the renal business sector.
- Leads provides guidance in the creation of prototypes, verification/validation units product specifications, including manufacturing documentation, material specifications assembly drawings.
- Implements complex design concepts ideas into working blueprints drawings.
- Offers design alteterations for all innovations of prototypes products, while guaranteeing proper documentation of changes.
- Maintains the creation of the test plan, device limitations their acceptance criteria.
- Accountable for the timely completion of the technical deliverables.
- Offer sustaining engineering direction support of products after manufacturing transfer.
- Interfaces with outside business partners as necessary.
- Draws introductory sketches formulates layout detail drawings.
- Has a constant awareness of innovative evolving technologies is able to provide conceptual practical applications for products used during renal procedures.
- Develop Intellectual Property through idea product submissions patent applications.
- Mentor technicians less experienced engineers.
- Travel to observe procedures, attend sponsored meetings meet with suppliers, customers or business partners.
- Responsible for the purchase or design of equipment that meets environmental, health safety standards set by the company.
- In charge of performing design reviews pre-validation assessments to guarantee the safe environmentally sound implementation of innovative products.
- Responsible for certifying company personal observation of all company, local, State Federal procedures, regulations policies.
- Accountable for relaying business related issues or opportunities to next management level.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education/Training and/or Experience:
- Experience with product development over multiple projects from concept stage to commercial release.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Certifications/Licenses:
- Must be able to multi-task manage project closure.
