Functions:
1. Oversee assigned area and account responsibilities from a total after sales support/penetration perspective by developing and maintaining a close working relationship with Latin America (LA) OEM, distributor and dealer personnel to improve part sales, service and support capabilities
2. Direct LA distributors in prospecting for new parts, remanufactured parts and engines, and genuine company consumable product business.
3. Direct LA distributors and dealers in the design implementation of effective parts sales promotional programs representing the entire Tognum America After Sales product line.
4. Identify business opportunities for Tognum America after sales products, develop and execute proposals, and follow through to make the sale
5. Monitor and investigate warranty and policy matters in the field from a fair and equitable perspective in such a way that it will create goodwill and future sales
6. Identify and resolve customer concerns and complaints in a timely manner
7. Oversee and coordinate service activities at major OEMs and fleets
8. Proactively provide technical assistance to OEMs, distributors, dealers and end-users to avoid/reduce customer issues
9. Monitor, implement and evaluate the company's procedures, policies and agreements
10. Identify needs, prepare and present professional sales and service presentations to customers, management and staff to improve their capabilities to support the customer.
11. Direct LA distributor dealer efforts toward the achievement of sales objectives.
12. Track and report on trends, forecasts, business conditions and account status to further develop future requirements of Tognum America After Sales products and services
13. Keep management advised of sales trends, workload, projects, and major product concerns and follow-up until resolved
14. Ensure that distributors and dealers maintain trained technicians, required tooling, parts inventory, and clean and organized facilities, so they can provide top quality sales and after sales support to customers
15. Maintain knowledge of company products, applications, after sales systems, procedures and policies.
16. Keep company property clean, organized and operational
17. Perform special projects as required

Required:
1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Business Management and 5 years of practical experience in support, sales or parts-marketing within after-sales; or 9 years of experience in support, sales or parts marketing within after sales
2. Excellent knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction
3. Excellent oral and written communication skills
4. Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with others
5. Excellent organizational, planning and follow up skills
6. Excellent analytical ability to handle very complex issues
7. Strong leadership/negotiation skills
8. Strong ability to be a self-starter and work extended periods without supervision
9. Strong problem solving skills and ability to make decision on their own
10. Strong knowledge of the practical application of engineering science and technology. This includes applying principles, techniques, procedures, and equipment to the support and service of diesel engines
11. Strong knowledge of heavy duty diesel engines or comparable diesel products and policies
12. Ability and willingness to relocate to area of responsibility and able to travel (50-90%) - domestic and international
13. Proficient in English Spanish
14. Proficient with PC and MS Office Suite

1. Knowledge of Tognum products, policies and procedures
