Our client relationship teams are responsible for maintaining and growing an existing book of business. The Chicago Relationship Management team supports approximately 40 relationships and $700 million of assets and is comprised of Relationship Managers (RM), Senior Relationship Associates (Sr. RA), Relationship Associates (RA) and an Administrative Assistant (AA).
All members of the team have client contact. The RM works with the clients to formulate strategy but devotes the majority of their time to developing new business. The Sr. RA implements each client's strategy and, with the assistance of the AA, is responsible for satisfying the needs of the clients. Specific responsibilities may include repositioning portfolios, ensuring compliance, introducing credit and trust professionals, opening accounts, receiving assets, fulfilling gifts, etc..
To be effective in this position the candidate must have knowledge of capital markets, portfolio management, income taxation, and trusts, and must have outstanding written and verbal communication skills to interact with and report to a demanding high net worth and institutional clientele to ensure a high level of client satisfaction.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree and 4-5 years of relevant experience in a client facing role, or 2-3 years of experience with demonstrated interest in Wealth Management through pursuit of CFA or CFP designations or a Masters degree with a concentration in finance or investments.
