Northrop Grumman Information Systems sector is seeking a Senior Requirements Analyst to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals.  This position will be located in Woodlawn, MD.

The candidate will have experience gathering requirements, designing feature-based systems, and supporting the software development life cycle. This person will act in a consultative manner with the customer groups as well as the development organization in determining the best approaches for providing customer solutions. The person must be an innovative, analytical thinker in order to develop conceptual informatics solutions.

 

Roles and Responsibilities:

·         Serves as the primary resource for gathering, validating, analyzing and documenting the stated business requirements, and the creation of the project use cases, visual models, requirements specifications, and reports

·         Articulates requirements, makes recommendations for process and business flows, develops consensus on requirements, and documents requirements via the approved process and templates

·         Serves as primary contact with the Subject Matter Experts and the champion of their needs across the software development life cycle

·         Maintains and reports on various project metrics as required.

 

 

Minimum Qualifications:

To be considered for this position, you must minimally meet the knowledge, skills, and abilities listed below:

·         Bachelors or equivalent plus 10 years of experience in requirements capture, management and analysis activities along all phases of the software development life cycle, including conducting user interviews, leading and facilitating JAD sessions, and developing business process models and formal specifications.

·         Experience in large software development or data integration projects

·         Works well as a team member in a high-stress, often time sensitive, unpredictable requirements environment

·         Solid oral and written communication skills, with the demonstrated ability to communicate complex technical topics to management and non-technical audiences

·         Able to attend meetings, take notes, and later replicate notes in a high level of detail in order to relay any complex meeting discussions and/or concepts

·         Excellent analytical skills, the ability to integrate information from multiple sources to execute effectively and efficiently in a dynamic environment

·         Strong problem-solving skills and ability to comprehend database methodologies

·         Must have strong reporting skills and develop reports for management

·         Experience providing customer and/or PMO status reporting

·         Experience with Quality Center required

·         Experience with MS Project

·         Experience with AGILE software development methodology

·         Must be able to obtain a Position of Trust designation


Preferred Qualifications:
Candidates with these desired skills will be given preferential consideration:

·         Experience in SDLC testing processes, including the development of test plans, test cases, and execution of testing activities.

·         Experience implementing systems using the iLog software

·         PMP certification

·         Experience in healthcare industry

·         Healthcare claims, policy and provider experience

·         Experience in Medicaid and CHIP Program (MACPro) highly desired

·         Experience in consulting to the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS)

·         Knowledge of Medicare’s Waiver Management System and Medical Model Data Lab
